I have been a high school teacher for 7 years now, and I always find that the best way to work with students is one-on-one. I have instructed several students who have been placed on home instruction and brought them up to speed with their classmates when they returned to school. I teach students with special needs and students in the general education setting. It is part of my job to make sure that the content presented is both meaningful and easily understood. I want to be a tutor to help those who are still struggling to grasp concepts in specific fields. My understanding of the Greek language has helped me to break down words into their component parts - a skill necessary for taking college entry exams.
